Why Kenya

Kenya is in need - but help is in place

The first 10 systems will be implemented in Kenya from 2010 to 2012 - the very first system was implemented in a rural village called Kambi ya Juu on October the 26th.

In Kenya, 25 million people do not have access to safe water - and lives in utter poverty. And due to the climate challenges even more people in Kenya will experience drought and water shortage. This is why our focus is on Kenya from 2010 to 2012.

Furthermore, in Kenya we have a Grundfos LIFELINK organisation with a service department in place and this is where we have been piloting the LIFELINK system since 2008.

In time, Grundfos Brings Water2Life plans to provide access to clean water in other countries with water problems. But first we will show that we can make a difference in Kenya!
